Chief Fiscal Officer

The County Auditor is the Chief Fiscal Officer in each County. It is Honorable Davies' responsibility to account for $73 million received each year and issue more than 29,000 warrants (checks) in payment of all County obligations. The County Auditor is the Chief Payroll Officer of the County issuing over 10,000 payroll warrants.

As Chief Fiscal Officer in each county, the Auditor is required by law to prepare the County's Annual Financial Report.
